At HSL Technologies, safety and compliance are at the core of everything we do. Driven by strong leadership commitment, our HSE approach shapes every action to ensure a safe and responsible working environment.
HSL Technologies has defined an ambitious and clearly stated HSE policy, displayed throughout the site’s common areas to serve as a daily reminder of the importance of safety and compliance. This policy is based in particular on the systematic performance of risk analyses before any new unit is started up or any chemical handling takes place, under the responsibility of each manager and with the active involvement of all employees concerned.
To support this approach, the company deploys significant organisational and human resources: an external expert consultant is brought in every week and an HSE work-study master’s student assists with operational activities, while the recruitment of a full-time HSE manager is planned by the end of 2026.
– Regular HSE talks organized by the HSE team on current safety topics.
– Monthly HSE review held with CSE representatives, the HSE team, and the company’s HSE referent.
– Annual extraordinary CSE meeting dedicated specifically to HSE topics.
– DUERP updated several times a year whenever a new unit/pilot arrives or a new risk is identified.
– Accessible to all employees, including all regulatory registers: safety register, accident events register, incident register, observations register, public health & environmental alerts register, and pressure equipment documentation.
– Safety training for all employees, with specialized modules for technical staff (SST, fire extinguishers, SCBA, electrical authorizations).
– Safety onboarding for new hires, with training completion confirmed by signed certificates.
– Provision and monitoring of PPE tailored to each role, replaced as needed.
