HSL Technologies, founded in 2015 by Pierre-Emmanuel Casanova and Vincent Lôme, was born out of a groundbreaking discovery at Aix-Marseille University: a molecule capable of spontaneously releasing hydrogen. This breakthrough led to the development of a revolutionary liquid hydrogen carrier, set to transform the hydrogen industry and accelerate global decarbonization.
In 2022, HSL Technologies marked a pivotal moment in its journey with the appointment of Corine Dubruel as Executive President, ushering in a new era of governance. This milestone coincided with the successful validation of our Series A fundraising, securing €15 million to fuel our growth, and the deployment of our innovations.
Our mission is to revolutionize hydrogen transport and storage through HydroSil, a breakthrough liquid hydrogen carrier that is safe, stable, and recyclable. By eliminating the need for high-pressure or cryogenic systems, we enable cost-effective hydrogen distribution using existing infrastructure.
